A Memory of Our Summer

My love at that time was like the fireworks from that summer night sky when I was 16.
It was totally beautiful.
Everything that surrounds me were filled with bright colors. Everything was so dazzling.
I never felt such happiness before.
But just as soon the fireworks end, everything around me went back to darkness.
Like how my love at that time, it was short-lived.
And there was a feeling of emptiness that makes my heart feel even more in pain.

I wonder why something that beautiful was just too painful...
